# Feather documentation

> Guides and reference for building games with Feather Engine 2 — the editor, the built-in game systems, scripting and agent automation.

Source: https://feather-engine.com/docs/

Feather is a native game engine that ships with the systems most games need — a player, physics, combat,
items, story, AI, vehicles, saves and menus — so you start from a working game and extend it. Every
feature can be tuned in the editor, changed from a script or Blueprint, and driven by an AI agent
through the same commands.

:::caution[Preview]
Feather 2 is in preview. Builds are currently verified on macOS with Apple Silicon. Features and command
names may change before the first public release.
